Tube Bent Furniture
The genesis of this project was the idea to create furniture that reduced the number of component parts needed to the bare minimum, whilst also creating a functional and unique style. To achieve this I created a design that centered around a singular tube bent frame that holds up the seat/worktop via tension, rather than the use of screws or other hardware. This idea developed and evolved into a range of furniture. Simultaneous to this unique construction method was my aim to use sustainable materials as much as possible. To achieve this, I worked with local wood reclamation services as well as other materials manufacturers to create seat tops and worktops.
